Apartments are spacious and the staff is great. I requested for early check in and was told no problems. The location is OK - it takes around an hour to get to the London central and that is the only downside *but* this place is good if you are looking for value and spacious place to stay. To get to London central - walk to the bus stop (5 min) take bus to Honslow west, take tube (Paddington line) .... costs #10 from Airport to the apartment...buy the #8 tube pass a day before so you dont have to spend money on the bus ticket.
There are no shops in the vicinity It takes 1 hour+ to get to London central
spacious and comfortable. close to heathrow. perfect for my family on our last night in the uk
I asked for a cab to be booked for the morning to airport. I was charged 25 pounds for a 2 mile journey. not a reflection on the hotel but another cab service could have been booked
No lifts, no airport shattle
The cleanliness of the apartment was excellent. It was very spacious, comfortable and homely. There was a very tranquil atmosphere. It was quiet and peaceful - no noise/disturbances. There was a tv in the bedroom and living room which worked fine. The staff at the reception were very helpful and informative. We noticed that a packet of crisps had been spilt on the entrance into our block and when we informed the reception they responded immediately and the corridor area was cleaned. I would definitely recommend to others and come back myself.
There is no lift in out block so we had to climb 2 flights of stairs.
View over field. Very Comfortable. Should have room service even if you are staying for under a week. Design of studio flat is nice but maybe a bit small. Overall very nice stay.
The rooms were spacious and well planned. It was warm and the utensilites and things in the apartment were excellent. We had a tv in the bedroom and one in the lounge. Really an excellent place to stay and we have already told our friends about it.
The only negative was that it is advertised with free WiFi and Internet- but it did not work for us :( My husband is a network engineer, and after spending 20 minutes on the phone to the service provider-we were able to get just one bar connection-so was very slow and poor. We were told there are only 2 apartments that actually have internet routers in, the others come off that-so I think it is a mistake to say it has Internet- if you were a business traveller-you could not work there unless you happened to pick an apartment with a router-so for us-that was a waste of time and we had to pay to use our 3g from Vodaphone.
Ideally located for Heathrow and is not to hard to get into London. The units have everything required by us to have a good stay.
The location: a handful of kilometers from Heathrow. The journey to and from Heathrow central bus station (within easy access to Terminals 1, 2 and 3) is well serviced with at least 4 buses. Journey time is less than 10 minutes. We never had to wait longer than a few minutes for a bus, whichever time of the day we wanted to go either from the hotel to Heathrow or in the opposite direction (in almost all cases, a bus arrived within a minute of us getting to the bus stop). Prices are reasonable for London and also, when considering that the hotel is so close to Heathrow (in my experience, hotels near major airports are, usually, very expensive).
The room had no daily maid service (this was only available for stays of at least 7 nights); this was known to us at the time of the booking and we had found it acceptable for the duration of our stay there (5 days, 6 nights). One thing that we did not find acceptable, however, was that there was a single toilet roll supplied and when I asked at the reception for another one, I was informed that I should normally have to buy my own (!) as this was part of the daily maid service which we did not have (we were actually given another toilet roll, free of charge). Since it was on a self-catering basis, I can accept that I would have to supply my own breakfast, bathroom items (shampoo, etc) but having to supply my own toilet rolls is, I feel, a bit too much!
It was great to be able to "swing the cat" after weeks of minute rooms
For short stay more consumerables are needed; i.e. toilet paper, soap etc.
Close to Heathrow 15mis. Had a washing machine that was very helpful.
While this property is a bit hard to find, it had secure parking (for a small fee), a generously sized apartment, great hot water. There is no place for breakfast, but it has a fully outfitted kitchen and I am sure you can find food to cook someplace near. It is very close to Heathrow, but has no shuttle that I could tell. If you have a car, and need a night or two near Heathrow, this is a prefect place to stay. And, by the way, the staff is terrific!
value for money had a nice upgrade to a big apartment friendly staff
Located near to heathrow, ideal stayover. Beautiful apartment, quiet considering it was right next to the airport. Will certainly use again. Being in the hotel industry I must say that this place is excellent value for money.
Nothing. It was flawless
Easy to find, just behind the Ariel Hotel. Electric gates to enter. Greeted by a lovely Hungarian, Gabor, who gave us Apt 9. On the third floor but he helped carry our luggage up the stairs. Very nice, clean, modern apt. Separate kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and all the usual appliances. Heated towel rail in bathroom . "Welcome Pack" with an assortment of groceries was a nice touch. Free wi fi. Large Tescos about 10 mins drive. We were there for the Olympics. Bus from across the Bath road took us into the airport terminal where we caught the tube to London. Quick and easy.
Thought 40 GBP a bit steep for parking considering the price of the apt.
This was a very good location and easy to get to , very clean and tidy and comfortable.
The area was a bit run down , but when you are in the grounds and the apartment you did not notice.
